With the retirement of Professor Alan Yates as Editor of the Occasional Publication series, the Anglo-Catalan Society decided that it was time to reconsider the future of the collection which Alan had established and directed with such diligence and success over the previous twenty years. In anticipation of this development, the Committee explored the full possibilities for the series and its future. As a result, a package was presented to the Annual General Meeting at the Conference in Oxford in December 2001, which proposed the publication of the series online in collaboration with the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes of the Departament de Cultura of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Dr Dominic Keown succeeded Professor Yates as Editor – with Dr Montserrat Roser i Puig as Deputy Editor – and a new editorial board was constituted. Since 2015, a new team of technical editors has been established, while Dominic Keown remains as chief editor.
